3rd Transnational Meeting of the ARTIFIGEN Project in Thessaloniki, Greece
On 27 November 2025, partners of the ARTIFIGEN project convened at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for the 3rd Transnational Meeting, starting at 09:30. The meeting served as a key milestone to align progress across work packages and to finalise preparations for the first Multiplier Event, held the following day. Following months of remote collaboration, the in-person meeting reaffirmed the strength and cohesion of the ARTIFIGEN consortium.
The agenda focused on technical progress, risk management, and strategic planning across the project’s core pillars:
- Project Management and front-end development (WP1 and WP2): Led by the project coordinator, GeoImaging Ltd, the consortium reviewed overall management matters, identified potential risks, and agreed on immediate next steps. The session also included a detailed update on the front-end development of the ARTIFIGEN website, along with planned feature integrations.
- Platform and coaching toolkit (WP3): IPSantarém guided discussions on the chatbot integration strategy and on the development of the coaching toolkit, ensuring the ARTIFIGEN platform remains user-centric, accessible, and effective.
- Prototype testing and pilots (WP4): The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki presented the plan for testing the first system prototype. This included a live, step-by-step rehearsal of the testing procedure to prepare pilot partners -Lietuvos Inžinerijos Kolegija (LIK) and Thinkplus Consulting Lda. (TPC)- for the upcoming implementation phase at Lithuania and Portugal, respectively.
- Dissemination and sustainability (WP5): Led by TPC, this session addressed exploitation and sustainability planning, with emphasis on concrete dissemination actions, partner responsibilities, and monitoring of key outreach metrics to maximise project impact.
A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to collaborative troubleshooting and mitigation planning. Partners exchanged proposals to address technical challenges and to ensure the ARTIFIGEN system is robust, scalable, and ready for pilot deployment. In addition, GeoImaging Ltd facilitated discussions on in-lab testing for the first prototype, to streamline its presentation and support continuous improvement.
The meeting concluded with a clear roadmap for the coming months across all work packages. To mark the progress achieved, the consortium shared a traditional Greek dinner, further strengthening the professional and interpersonal bonds that support ARTIFIGEN’s successful delivery.
