Geoimaging LTD(GEO)

GeoImaging LtD (https://www.geoimaging.com.cy) is an SME based in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. The company was established in 2002 and since then it offers scientific and professional solutions in the area of ICT and Geoinformatics. The area of projects’ that GeoImaging is acting includes ICT and Geoinformatics, software development, web applications, databases & data mining, photogrammetry & computer vision, remote sensing, GIS, cartography, 3D modelling, Virtual Reality (VR) applications and interactive 360o applications. GeoImaging currently has 10 employees of different scientific backgrounds, including engineers, software developers, ICT technicians and project managers. The company has a wide portfolio in European co-funded projects. Especially, during 2007-2013, GeoImaging was ranked as the first company in Cyprus with respect to the number of FP7 projects. The quality management system of GeoImaging Ltd has been implemented in 2013 and is fully compliant with ISO 9001 standards

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh): is the largest academic institution in Greece and one of the largest in Southeastern Europe, covering all disciplines and scientific fields. AUTh comprises 11 faculties, 41 schools, and 311 laboratories, offering academic programs in science, arts, humanities, divinity, medicine, and technology. Approximately 80,000 students study at AUTh, including around 4,000 doctoral candidates. AUTh is widely recognised as the most interdisciplinary university in the country, offering a wide range of services in basic and applied research. Its main focus is on the fields of engineering, environment, information technology, psychology and health, humanities, education, history and languages, social and economic sciences. The university is known for its academic achievements and is a vibrant center of learning. The academic personnel of the University have received training from reputable universities in Europe, the United States, Australia, and Japan. The University has actively participated in the Erasmus Programme since 1987, accounting for approximately one-fourth of the total Erasmus mobility in Greece for both student and staff mobility. The institution is proud of its international role and active participation in international academia. AUTh is a member of all major academic networks globally and is a well-known academic entity. AUTh demonstrates intensive research activity and participates in European research programs and projects. The university cooperates with international institutions and organisations and attracts outstanding researchers from Greece and abroad. Over the past five years, AUTh has gained extensive experience in project management and administration by coordinating or participating in over 5,000 national, European, and international research projects. The university has collaborated with more than 1,000 international partners from both the public and private sectors and has employed nearly 10,000 people, including permanent teaching and research staff, as well as external researchers. The strategic objectives of AUTh remain consistently high and oriented towards the continuation of its tradition as a pioneering institution, standing out among Greek and foreign universities in education, research, culture, and connection with society. At AUTh, research project management and coordination are subject to a high-quality management system (ISO 9001:2015). This ensures increased credibility and competitiveness, effective resource utilization, and compliance with specific requirements for service provision and product generation. Additionally, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki maintains one of the largest data networks in Europe. Development of the IT Centre at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki began in 1993 and it now spans all building complexes on campus and peripheral sites. The centre also operates a mediumsized institutional HPC infrastructure, consisting of over 30 physical nodes and more than 1000 CPU cores.

PS: The Instituto Politécnico de Santarém

IPS: The Instituto Politécnico de Santarém is an institution of public higher education that began its activity in 1979 and consists of the following five Higher Schools in different scientific areas (Agriculture Sciences; Education; Management and Technologies; Sports Sciences; Health) and a Research Unit. It conducts its teaching courses of the 1st and 2nd cycle, as well as technological specialisation courses (1 year) and post degree courses, UIIPS is responsible for the scientific research done in the Polytechnic. It has two halls of residence with laundry, kitchen and internet wireless, bar and cafeteria in each school and sporting facilities on all campuses. The Higher School of Education (ESES) offers courses of teachers training, communication and multimedia, fine arts, social service and cultural animation, oriented mainly towards the practical and research components that promote reflection, conceptualisation and creation of theoretical frameworks. These are divided into three different categories: initial training (bachelor and master degrees and graduation), teacher’s continual and specialised training, namely through postgraduation courses focused on teachers and non-teachers, especially on pedagogical supervision, curricular development and organisation, special education and multimedia education. The Research Groupon Digital Literacy and Social Inclusion has over 20 researchers including integrated and collaborating members working in social inclusion, media literacy and educational technologies.

Lietuvus Inzinerijos Kolegija (LIK)

Lietuvus Inzinerijos Kolegija (LIK) is a Lithuanian higher education institution offering nine professional bachelor’s degree programmes in the fields of Civil, Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical, Automotive and Aeronautical engineering. Established in 1920, it was the first educational institution to train engineering specia-lists in independent Lithuania. Since its establishment, LIK has prepared nearly 30,000 graduates for successful careers in Engineering. Today, LIK is creative, inclusive, open to innovation and has strong industry connections that guarantee industry placements and successful employment for its 900 current students. We work tirelessly to become the lader among the applied science universities in the Baltic countries and to develop engineering competencies that ensure the advancement of a smart society. LIK’s priority research areas include studies of smart and efficient engineering solutions in construction and road engineering, development and analysis of electronic and electrical engineering systems, studies of ecological vehicles, research on the effectiveness of modern materials processing technologies, diagnostic studies of the condition of aircraft functional systems and structural elements, and educational research. As a university of applied sciences, LIK represents the professionally oriented segment of higher education in Lithuania, meaning that its key focus areas are applied scientific research and providing students with skills that would increase they employability and cater to the needs of the regional, national and international industry. LIKcan contribute to the implementation of the project’s activities by bringing a unique perspective and sharing good practices in the areas of cooperation of HEI’s with the local industry and other stakeholders, applied scientific research and preparation of students able to solve challenges faced by today’s, and tomorrows, labour market. As a HEI preparing engineering specialists for the future labour market, KTK places great focus on its contribution to the digital and green transformation. Given that our students will have direct impact on society through their contribution to innovation in the construction, energy, electronics and transportation industries, their understanding of the challenges faced by today’s world is crucial. To develop this understanding in the most effective way, constant development of pedagogical approaches and adoption of the most modern processes, policies, theories and technologies is essential to develop as an organisation and continue to fulfil our mission, and our involvement in the project will contribute to the achievement of these goals.

Thinkplus (TPC)

Thinkplus (TPC) is an SME based in Lisbon, Portugal, established in 2021 by partners with over 25 years of experience in the company's areas of expertise. The organization's core focus lies in Strategy and Management domains, as well as Training and Individual and Organizational Development. TPC is dedicated to crafting tailored solutions to address the needs of its clients and targets, fostering collaborative environments that optimize intervention impact and drive performance improvements at both individual and organizational levels.
